The Gender Equality Index is a tool implemented since 2019 by the Ministry of Labour in order to eliminate inequalities between women and men in societies. Published each year, March 1st at the latest for the previous year, it is now mandatory for all society with at least 50 employees.

The index is composed of 5 main requirements which assess the inequalities between women and men in company in the form of a score of 100:

1: The gender pay gap,

2: The spread of individual increases

3: The number of employees increased on their return from maternity leave,

4: The spread of promotions,

5: Parity among the 10 highest salaries.
